For 2016, the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Administration has awarded Dr. Bill Adams with the Outstanding Full-Time Teaching Award. More information about the awards can be found here.

In collaboration with fellow GW researchers, Bill Adams has co-authored an article titled “Network Bibliometrics of Public Policy Journals” published in the spring issue of the Policy Studies Journal. The Policy Studies Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of the Policy Studies Organization. This article brings to light some of the relationships and networks created among the citations and references in different public policy journals. This is not the first time Adams has researched and written about the connections between journals, as he published an article, again with Donna Infeld, in 2014 about two specifically, the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management and the Policy Studies Journal.

On spring break, Bill returned to revisit Cuba again after fifteen years. Two highlights of his summer travels were hiking in the eastern Congo to see a troop of gregarious mountain gorillas and exploring the new country of Timor-Leste. For more see www.billtrips.com.

At NASPAA's annual conference in October, Bill will participate in a roundtable on the subject of executive competencies.
